Editorial independence
The Daily Wollongong is independently owned and operated. No government, party, candidate, or political organisation contributes funding, content, or editorial direction. Sponsors and advertisers have no influence over what we cover or how we cover it.
Corrections issued this year
An earlier version stated the infrastructure spend was $34m. The correct figure is $43m, per the council's published budget papers.
We misidentified the lead contractor. The contract was awarded to Built Environs, not Lendlease.
The player's tenure was listed as seven seasons; it is six.
